Apparently RCA has renamed it model ATSC10. The release date is ambiguous. Good asking price, $549 and it will include DVI (for whatever that's worth).

rb13 HDTVoice Member Join Date: Nov 2002 Posts: 1	i am an rca csr and there is a dtc200 coming out and also the atsc10 coming out as well. these are 2 different products. don't have a whole lot more info on either one other than what i have read in the press releases. you can find those on the thomsonmultimedia.com site. hope this helps

OK Here's the deal.....
I've sent RCA a couple of email to no avail

so I sent one directly to Thomson mgfr for RCA's STB........

So we wait and see what happens around June 2003, at least Thomson is talking...

Ratman Try using Google... Fool! Join Date: May 2002 Location: Collingswood, N.J. Posts: 11,104	Huh???? The DTC-100 has been a workhorse for many years in many homes. How can you make a statement like that? The DTC-100 may not have a lot of bells and whistles, but it is a reliable box (with proper care and feeding).

picklgreen Reged User Tier 2 Join Date: Mar 2003 Posts: 102	My main gripe with it was in incompatibility with many HDTV sets! It had that RGB output that you needed to convert to Component output. Plus the reception vs the first gen sony was not all that great.

We will not be producing the DTC200, but we are working on a replacement model that will have improved connectivity over the planned interfaces on the announced-but-not-shipped DTC200.

So, the answer is "Yes" we will have a DIRECTV high-def set-top box. But delivery dates have not yet been established.

We do not manufacture for other brands, currently.
