How to clean LCD RPTV Screen
Have a Sony KDF-55wf655 and just found many finger prints like marks on the screen. Don't know whether my little kid put them on or the delivery guy made it 4 weeks ago. Seems hard to get rid of it with a dry soft cloth, my questions would be:
1)Is there any better way for the cleaning? 2)The screen feels loose, it is shaking while you clean it. Is this normal? 3)Is there any chance those marks were generated by TV itself? Thank you! |

You can try a damp cloth, just not dripping wet. The screen sits in a groove, it's possible to have a little play in it...

Most operating manuals recommend a warm, damp (not wet) cloth. The warmth helps to disolve any oils (from fingerprints, etc). If need be, you can follow this up with a soft dry cloth, or some people recommend a photo, lens cloth.

You mean you didn't get the free cleaning cloth? I got a small blue one with my set. The instructions are to us it damp. However all I do is light dusting to it every 2 weeks and that has worked since I've had it.
