Antenna size: bigger/better?

OK. I'm gearing up to do the OTA thing and have a question: will I have any problems if I buy more antenna than I need?

Currently, the most HDTV in my area comes from Sutro tower (clear line of site at about 45 miles -- I live in Sunnyvale). But there are other xmitters spread around the SF bay area, so I was thinking about just "going large."

Are there any potential problems with this approach? If so, is there anyone out there who could recommend an antenna size/model?

Thanks.
