I have the JVC HD-61Z575 TV and have had it since before Christmas....and I cannot stand the TV picture running thru the Satellite Box.....

All i can say is that the picture SUCKS!!!!!!


The picture on REGULAR (non-HDTV) is fuzzy and blurry and LOOKS like an OLD schoool style BIG SCREEN PROJECTION TV Picture!

The 5 or 6 HDTV channels look good to me, but the regular ones should be "similar" and not fuzzy.

Now, I have tried Direct TV and now Dish Network and each was bad, altho DISH is a little better, as the equipment is new.


For example, If i watch a FOOTBALL game on the TV, there is NO WAY to see the names and I have a tough time with even the numbers of the players!

This CANNOT be right!! Can It??

Direct TV was connected thru regualr co-ax cable.
Dish Network is connected thru their HDTV box thru Component Cables.



What is wrong?

Do i not have it "dialed in" correctly???

Do I need a "configuration cd"???

What settings do i need to play with and adjust??

Panorama looks bad.....Full looks bad.....it all looks bad!


DVDs on an OLD DVD player look "good", and expect if i get a new Player will look even better.


Got the TV thru a friend who had a JVC connection/deal.......
