KP51ws500

whats up guys.... just got my exchange for my 51hw40 that had the flicker prob. to the ws500 and yeah i was aware of the certain serial number to avoid and i didnt get a set that started with 900 or anything like that..... Let me just tell ya, this set is beautiful... I have nothing bad what so ever to say about it. I personally think the picture quality is a little bit better with the new model then the hw40... Dont have HD in my area just yet but should have it by the beginning of the year cause I work for Cox Communications and we're supposed to start beta testing it by Jan. Prog DVDs look amazing and cant wait to get Star Wars episode 2 on Tues.. THIS TV ROCKS

I just watched Shrek in HD on HBOHD. It was pretty incredible. An excellent television.

Most film has excellent picture quality. Remember that it is projected very large onto the cinema screen. Old cinemas were also much larger than most of today's cineplexes.

Film has much higher "resolution" than HD, therefore it's not difficult to get a great DVD, which is even lower resolution than HD, provided someone puts the proper effort into the transfer...
