No go.......

I am not sure what is meant by set the sleep timer to "0" (in which case I can not set my on/off timer to "0") ........ I was not sure what is meant by "0" as I can only set an on/off time...... So I tried both ways (first on then off) while simultaneously pressing "Display and Video Status". No go.....

Anyway Thank You for the suggestion!

Marv

The "Sleep Timer" (from the manual):
Quote:
The Sleep Timer can turn the TV off for you after you fall asleep. Program it to work in intervals
of 15 minutes, for a total time of up to 180 minutes.
Sleep Timer Message
20 seconds before the automatic shutoff, this message will appear:
You then have 20 seconds to press the SLEEP button to
delay the shut off for another 15 minutes.
GOOD NIGHT!!
PUSH SLEEP TIMER BUTTON
TO EXTEND
0 15 30 45 60 75 90 105 120 135 150 165 180

The Sleep timer button is under the power button on the remote.

Service menu code for av48p575 ??

Turns out my remote battery was just about dead and would not bring up the Sleep Timer so I thought that it was not available.

Changed out the batteries and now the sleep timer works...;-)) However setting the sleep timer to "0" and while it is flashing pushing the Display and Video Status buttons simultaneously does nothing......

I have also tried (with the tv on) pushing the Display and Mute keys simultaneously also to no avail.....

I have also tried going into the clock setting and changing it to 3:21 am. Then while the Thank You was flashing I then pushed Mute and UP/DOWN keys.... No Joy here either!

I really appreciate the suggestion that you gave me...... Thank You!
