Rainbows - HP7120
I got to see an HP7120 set up at our local CC this weekend. I did notice rainbows a little bit, however not as bad as the HP data projector we have at work (I can barely look at it). Does anyone know what the color wheel segments and speed are for this model? Just wondering if there is something better out there for us 'rainbow sensitive' types? Thank you.

I look on HP's site and http://www.projectorcentral.com/HP-...nema_ep7120.htm neither gives the number of segments or the speed. They must not be very proud of the specs?
Lee I might add, if you are prone to seeing the rainbows you might try a LCD FP. Last edited by LeeS : 09-27-2005 at 03:34 PM. |

Agreed, if you see rainbows, any single chip DLP projector regardless of color wheel segments and/or speed will cause rainbows.
