Advent TV dead
Well I was trying to use DVI on my Advent HDTV today, and there was a large spark, and my TV stopped working. Luckily I can still take it back and get my money back. Anyone else have a similar problem?

Please do not cross-post. If you can't get a remote, consider one of the universal remotes which may have the functions you need. Harmony remotes will certainly have the functions, but they are a little more expensive, but if you've got other equipment to control, the Harmony is a good choice.

I have had mine for 3 weeks and it went completely dead also. Lucky for me also- I can return it and get a good brand. You take a chance when you buy these off brands!
