I just purchased a Mitsu WS55411 and I plan on purchasing my first DVD player, but I know I soon will want to get the surround sound speakers to complete the whole home theater experience.
So, my question is would it be smarter (and less expensive) to buy a speaker system which includes the DVD player with it versus first buying the DVD player and then going out later to get the speaker system. I am quite the novice on this whole thing, and so I'm trying to pick as much info as I can. Thanks for any info that can be provided, Kerbdog |

Speakers have nothing to do with DVD players.
Stay away from a unit that has the receiver and DVD player in 1 box. Better to go seperate components. This is good http://www.sears.com/sr/product/sum...pid=05798092000 This is not good http://www.sears.com/sr/product/sum...pid=05798172000
