Help with Resolution Info
I recently bought an Advent Ht2778a 27" and i was wondering what resolutions it supports(420i, 420p, 720p, 1080i). I cant seem to find this info anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check the specifications in the operating manual. It should say something about the "native" resolution - like 768 x 1365 or something like that (those are typical widescreen numbers, since this is not widescreen, then it may be 768 x 1024).. It may also say something about what it accepts. If it accepts 720P then it'll also accept the other 3 formats, since "all" HDTVs do that...
I looked around the web and didn't see the spec. http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid...ication.do#tabs Any incoming formats will be converted to the native format. I assume it'll ACCEPT 480i/P, 720P, 1080i and then convert them to the native format, whatever that is. I'm always sceptical when there is no specification. This may not be a "true" HDTV, especially since it's 4:3 and especially at that price. Please do not cross-post. I've removed your other threads.

You might want to e-mail Advent and ask them to let you know what the native resolution of this monitor is (number of horizontal and vertical pixels).
Also, if you know of an identical monitor sold under another name, give that a try.
