Who manufactures Akai TV's?
I was told by sales man at the store that the Akai TV's were made by Samsung can anyone confirm this for me?

Well, people in this thread seem to have confirmed it with support. There are more in the thread if you read it all. Kenneth |

Samsung
The akai is definitely a samsung the remote and the dumb sound they have when they turn on is a dead giveaway. From what i seen the dlp apect ratio is wrong also.

It's been covered about the remote. Glad you could toss in your comment about the sound. Really helps us all. Seems you have a grudge and just posted to every AKAI thread you could. I and alot of people here have had great success with the product line. Go troll somewhere else. Kenneth |

The TV I was looking at had great sound considering it was only 2 speakers...although for me sound quality for the TV doesnt really matter as I only run a 5.1 system..might upgrade to 6.1 early next year. My current TV's volume has been set to 0 since the day I got it.
