Perfect Focus problem
I'm having a problem using my perfect focus on the Akai PT5598HDIX. It starts the scan then shows NO SENSOR DATA at the top of the screen. If anyone has any knowledge of how to fix this, I'd appreciate their input. Thanks in advance

There may be a bad connection on the inside of the TV - these sensors are usually connected by a bunch of wires and a plastic connector, perhaps the connector is bad, or one of the sensors is bad.
If you're handy, you may wish to check the connection to see if it's "good", otherwise, call for service.

I have this same response appear on my PT5598HDI when I try to use the perfect focus adjustment. I noticed this after I first changed the convergence settings by going through the menu which you can access to make setting changes by pressing Menu 183. I just attributed the fact that my Perfect Focus would no longer work because I had changed the convergence settings through the professional settings menu, and I figured by doing this I had messed up the Perfect Focus default settings. You can adjust your settings so much better by going through the Menu 183 route better than the Perfect Focus feature. See other posts in this thread for instructions.
