Just looking for some opinions on the Akai plasma.

I found a 50 inch Akai Plasma-HD monitor at Rosa's for $2500. I've been searching for a while, and this is by far the best price I've seen on the market.

I've set a budget at $3K total (tax, everything else) for a new TV. I plan on having the set for about 3-5 years (after which I'll be done with school, have a job and be able to pick and choose).

Anyone have an opinion on these sets? The specs are good, and the PQ seems comparable to about everything except Panasonics.

Ifigure if I'm going for the cheapest 50 incher, it's the clear choice (basically the only choice in my price range in 50 in.).

Anyone suggest going for more quality in a 42 incher? or would I be good with the Akai?
