Picture Quality

I am living in a dorm right now(college) I am thinking about getting a 37' from best buy, but all they show is HD content. I know some TV's use different methods of fitting non-hd content on to the montior. I was just wondering how regular TV looks on the unit, i won't be able to get HD for about 6 months (When i leave the dorms)

Thanks

It basically depends on the quality of the incoming signal. If you have a good signal, it will look quite good. If not, garbage in garbage out.

See the HDTV FAQ on "poor SD PQ".
