I have never had a projector before and I am looking for a good entry-level projector. I want to buy from Costco because of their warranty. There are no stores around here that have any projectors set up so I have to buy the projector without seeing it in action. The projector will be in my basement so the lighting can be controlled. I will use the projector mainly to watch sports, DVDs/movies and play video games. Currently I do not have HDTV.
My choices are: Costco projectors 1. Optoma Movie Time DV10 DLP w/ 106" Panoview Cinema Screen = $999 2. Optoma H27 Projector w/ 92" Screen = $999.99 3. Mitsubishi HC900 DLP Home Cinema Projector = $1,199.99 4. Optoma H31 w/ 92" Screen = $1,249.99 5. Panasonic PT-AE900U = $1,599.99 <--------I am leaning toward I have researched all of these projectors on projectorcentral.com, and they all seem to have similar reviews. Thanks in advance Last edited by nicoh22 : 03-07-2006 at 12:03 PM. |

They will all do the job. Priced right and easy to use. Just go for it!
8 feet of screen is a good thing. Doug k

Personally I would not buy anything that is not at least 720p native resolution.
