New antennas for digital reception
I have contacted a renowned aerial corporation and they have sent me two models of the uhf antennas. The largest one looks similar to a Blake and a Channel Master 4248. The forward elements are all folded dipoles and the reflector is large and has vertical and horozontal tight bars to capture more signal and a fb ratio of 28db. Also a smaller version for close rang was included. The Silver sensor also has a model called the power sensor with a built in 13db amplifier. A Silver Sensor model called the paramount is a silver sensor that attaches to balcony railings, attic joists, window frames and walls. Another Silver Sensor is the traveller model. This beauty comes with a mast and a three suction cup mounting sucker. It will fit to any smooth surface and vertical and horizontal or sloping surfaces is not a problem. Two other models of an indoor antenna is the super set top with a double reflector and the sensatv which is a five element antenna. I t uses a folded dipole , three directors and one reflectorin the rear of the antenna. All are 75ohm models.another company has a logperiodic model similar to the Silver Sensor but does not use swept back elements like the S.S. model. It is slightly less in cost and is not silver in finish. Thats all I have for now . John L.
