Something that has me excited!

The new Sony Pearl, pretty much has the same specs as the ruby. Most likely not as good but if it gets 90% of the way there for 50-60% of the price I think it will be a good way for people to get a nice 1080p projector.

Looks good. If either the Ruby or Pearl look as good as the SXRD rear projector. Should be nice.

I still have not been able to see a Ruby in action. My AV store does Sony but they don't have one.

Looks promising, and you won't necessiraly need to tap the credit card to replace the bulb.

This is the biggest advantage to this projector, it most likely will not be 100% as good as the Ruby considering it's rumored to be priced between $3K-7K. But based on specs it will be similar. Except the bulb wont be blowing after 5-700 hours like so many I have read about. Here in Canada the Ruby bulb is $1299.99 each, that is pretty expensive when it needs to be replaced that often.

Nice!...........Hope in comes in under 5K. That might just sway me into getting an upgrade on my projector. The Ruby is a great projector but just to expensive.
