Unhappy Help with Advent HT2751A (stopped working)

[B]I have owned an Advent HT2751a for around 14 months now. About 3 weeks ago when I would turn the set on the picture would immediately freeze up with (usually) vertical lines across the screen. After the TV would "warm up" for a few seconds, the picture would come on correctly. As time went by, the delays got longer. Finally, the TV went from picture on, to blue screen, to on, to blue screen (and so forth). When the pic did come to stay for a while, the color was no good. I have since unplugged it and stored it away - is there anything I can do. Is it worth taking to a repair shop?
Thanks for any help.

I have the same problem with my 2751a. Haven't found the solution yet, but I did pull the back off the set and look around. Didn't find anything but it did seem to work better for a while. Mine has no video when first turned on then goes to blue screen. After about 10 to 15 minutes I can turn it off and back on and get a picture. While in blue screen I can look at menus and settings with the remote. That tells me the problem is with the board that selects video as I am using the back panel S-video input right now. Tried other video inputs but still acts the same.
Any help appreciated Doug

Same problem

I have the exact same problem. Had the set for about 16 months. Problem started when I switched from Dish network to Time Warner Cable. Cable guy says it's the set.
