i recently bought th jvc 56wp30 and was wondering if anyone had the tv and or some suggestions on settings my local circuit city didnt know what i was talking about when i asked them about avia.thanks in advance

I bought the same TV from Circuit City. No one knows what AVIA is in my area. I live in MD.

I took the advice of the guys on this website and bought it on the internet. The MSRP is $50. You can find it from $35- $40 on the net.

DeepDiscountDVD has free shipping and it was around $36.
I understand Amazon sells it for around the same price.
In fact another member of this website ordered from Amazon after I placed my order and he received it sooner.

The other option is to check with the Blockbuster, Hollywood Video about renting it.

I think it was one of the best purchases I made for my TV. I highly recommend buying it. You may only use it a few times at first but when you know you are seeing the picture the way it was meant to be seen - it is great! Not to mention that any time you want to calibrate you have the DVD handy is great as well.
