Copyright Conspiracy and other ramblings.

First of all I have no info to base this on. But think about this:

Fox does not want HD and they own Fox studios producers of movies and DVD'.

Sony Electronics wants DVI because they are also part of Columbia-Tristar.

They and the other MPAA members only want to protect their property from people who want to steal from them. Unfortunately for the 2% that have Hd Capable equipment, the new televisions coming on the market will have some type of protection.

We may have been the first people to get into Hd but the majority that come after us will not care.
Why, because copy protection will not effect the next generation of HD purchasers.

Think about the people who bought laser disc players,Beta recorders or even the analog television owner in 5 years. Just because I own one does not mean some one must supply me content. I may not like it, but I at least hope it takes about 10 years before my 6 month old television is obsolete.
