I have a westinghouse hdtv 32" with background noise. I purchase it on 01/27/07. We have it connected to Charter Com. cable only no stereo system or DVD player. How do I get rid if the noise as I am ready to return this TV?

What kind of 'noise'?
What's the model # of your TV?
How is the "cable" connected to the TV (directly from wall or through a 'cable box')?
If connected via a 'cable box', how is it connected (just coax or red/white audio cables, HDMI, etc.)?
