What Antenna??

I'm looking for an Antenna that works well & fairly inexpensive... because in a few months i will be getting The New Dish Network HDTV receiver. so i'm looking into a cheap alternative until then. I live in Portland, Or so anyone that knows Portland weather knows that i will need a antenna for good stormy reception.
Thanks!

Go take a look at http://antennaweb.org. From there you will see what level of antenna you need. Also, have you looked into Att/Comcast cable (or your local if different) to see when they will be getting HDTV to you as well. Cable deals with stormy weather a lot better then Dish or OTA.

I'm currently using At &T/Comcast Digital Cable and the picture is awful. I do plan on stopping by AT & T to see what &/or when HDTV will be available in the portland area.

Well in Seattle Comcast has just HBO and Shotime but keep saying that the locals are coming soon.

Also, doesn't it rain more in Portland then Seattle?

WHAT??

no HDTV from AT&T in Portland from 1-2 years....WTF! I just was on the phone with a woman from Comcast/AT&T and that is what she told me...So, i told her i was switching to Dish network & she laughed and told me that she would do the same if she could have HDTV sooner.

BrianW-
LMAO, that's funny Bro! Seattle...Portland, they both are wet as hell! I miss living in San Diego!
