Thank you for posting the descrption, would it be possible to get the default settings as well. I am intrested in the 2004 model settings, as I did the most stupidest thing, while in the service menu, ended up chaning some setting which i have no idea what it effects. I was able to adjust overscan, but i know i scrwed up some numbers. I have the Toshiba 65H84.

Each TV is different and there really are no "default" settings, although the service manual type settings would probably be close enough to get you in the ballpark so you could tweak from there...

I am confused by your message, or most likely you are confused by mine. So let me clearify. I went in the service menu to adjust overscan. While doing so, i accidently changed some setting for things like RCUT (guessing) which I have no idea what it does. I orginally went into to adjust the height/width of the image, to get a overscan. But changed setting for other things by mistake. So I notice you listed some of the options that can be adjusted, but I am looking for the orginal values. Now if their are no orginal values, like you say, I understand. But I dont understand what you are saying, about manual type settings, because I dotn know what the orginal setting was

There are no "original" values. For the service people or for people like you who've "messed up", there are settings that get you in the ballpark. Sorry, I don't know them.

Perhaps this site can assist.

http://www.epanorama.net/links/servicemanuals.html

Also, you can go to a "friendly" store, go into the service menu of an identical TV, and copy down the settings...

Also, check out the FAQ "What you need to do to your new HDTV".

Very kind of you to post this information. Does anyone know the code to access the service menu for a Toshiba, specifically the 52HM94 or -95? That would be extremely helpful...and much appreciated.

A long time <g>. But I did all this 5 or so years ago, way back in the heyday of Home Theater Forum when we were figuring out all that kind of stuff.

And then when we finally do get all of it figured out, Toshiba immediately removes the designer menu. *******s. lol
