Questions about contrast and backlight.

Id really like more then 1 persons opionion on this but any will do. Anyway... ok ive decided to use the warm color temp and to get use to the redish white because colors seem better.. well my questions are. Is it safe to keep the backlight at max? when turning up the backlight i notice my whoite seem whiter on the warm setting. Another thing is about contrast. ok ive used avia ,and 3 diffrent thx optimizers and while all the 8 bars show up at 48 i notice one of the lighter whites isa bit green but goes away at 47. Which contrast setting should i use? right when all 8 boxes are visable or go down one more? please get back to me thanks. BTW my tv is a 32" Westinghouse LCD (SK-32H520S)
