Westinghouse w 32701
hello all
my friend gave me broken Westinghouse w 32701 lcd tv that he was gonna grow to the garbage ok At power up screen flashes blue for an instant then goes black. Sound works (now i have 2 broken tv;s to fix  )video of my tv http://s283.photobucket.com/albums/...w32701-XVID.flv thanks for the help  |

Just a guess...
It looks like an "error message" (like a PC's blue screen of death). Perhaps a reflash or update of the firmware: http://www.westinghousedigital.com/firmware.aspx Or... the backlight is bad. You can always try contacting Westinghouse for tips. http://www.westinghousedigital.com/contactus.aspx

i called Westinghouse because i could not register to download the
firmware and the shed there is no firmware available for this tv thanks for your help |

i dunno it look like a bord and notta lite you havta look fur udder place to bay cheeper if it reelly the part that bad i think you shud call for service

i want to do it by myself

If the backlight CCFL is good, it may be a bad inverter. Or both?
