Geometry problems galore.

Found out...
Sony service does not fix HDTV problems as no one is trained in the sets. Caveat Emptor

I haven't had any problems with digital channels jumping from one to the other. Perhaps one of your other components may be the culprit? The TV could still be defective, but it would have to be a process of elimination to find out what is causing the behavior you're seeing....
