Dvr??
Hi I was wondering if there are any DVRs on the market that do not require a subscription. I bought ReplayTV and then returned it. It took forever to change channels and I didn't feel that it was worth a $250 subscription. I know there is a Panasonic DVD Recorder or DVD Player that has a built in hard drive but I'd rather stay away from Panasonic because of the lack of DVD-RAM compatability. Anyways I just bought a Philips DVD Recorder.
If there are no other DVRs yet, will there be new ones coming out soon? Also, now that Replay TV was bought by someone, will they update the hardware and software? Will there be a new generation of Replay TVs? I loved the technology in that thing. I wanted to buy two or three and then stream from one room to the other and possibly send shows to my other home and be able to watch shows there. Thanks for any help you can give me. |
