The corners
I know that most of the time the focal point is going to be at or near the center of the TV, so the corners may not be incredibly important. I know that the further away on the opposite side of the TV the the gun has to fire to, the wider the lines and less accurate the gun is. But when the TV is turned off, and I move my head around to get the glare from my lamp right into the corner, should I see noticeable warpage?
I thought at first it might be from shipping, but then I thought that it could be that way by design. Maybe it's that way to balance it out, but I tend to that's not the casebecause it seems more severe in one corner than a couple others. Or maybe the differing angle of reflection between the lamp and the TV makes it seem more or less severe in certain corners. Should I be calling an authorized service person? |

Are you talking about the protective screen on an RPTV? Those do tend to "warp" a bit into the corners, but that's not where the image is being displayed.

I guess that's what it is. I've been trying to see an effect when the TV is on, but I can't say that I really notice one. Didn't know if I should be concerned. It's just hard to watch TV when you have some sort of glare in those specific areas. Maybe the anti-glare properties of the TV could have been a little better (it is pretty smooth).
