CT-32HL43 upconverts to near-hdtv???
Hi,
I'm considering buying the CT-32HL43. As I've been browsing through the various different brands, I see a feature (Sony calls id Digital Reality Creation, Toshiba calls it HDSC, Philips has a name, PurePix-maybe not, cant recall) which claims to "improve standard NTSC signals to near-high-definition quality." The Panasonics make no mention of this, aside from the typical "progressive scan doubling" which the other products claim to be "more than" that. What do people here think? Does the panasonics have this feature and they just neglect it in their manuals and web site. Does this feature really work, i.e., is it something that should sway my decision of the panasonics don't do this? thanks. |

All HDTVs have some form of "upconversion". Some HDTVs do a better job than others. Check out the FAQ section for additional useful information.
Posts like: "If only I'd have known". "What you need to do to your new HDTV" "How large an HDTV to buy" "Types of HDTV", Etc.
