Dual Tuner dvr

Is there a retail dual-tuner dvr available that works with Comcast cable box (not to record HD, but to record digital cable, and be able to record one program while watching another live). I have found dual-tuner TIVO that works with DirectTV, but not one that works with cable. I must be missing something. If only single-tuner is available for cable, I may as well get the 6208 from Comcast and be able to record HD as well? How many hours of recording does the 6208 allow?

The SA8000 & SA8000HD have dual tuners, but if your service provider uses Motorola, these are no good for you. You'll have to wait for the next generation Motorolas in a year or so for dual tuners.

SA v. Motorola

Thanks. My provider does use Motorola so I guess I'll get the 6208 for now (supposed to be available here tomorrow) and wait for the dual tuners later.

One thing you can do is watch a programme that has been recorded, while recording another programme, as this only requires one tuner.
