just bought the 51in sony widescreen KP series just found out about the DVI stuff thats going on does anybody know for sure if they'll maybe have a seperate setup box later down the line or a tech could come out and internally hook one up inside the TV please someone gimme some answers id be totally pissed off if i bought this set and it not be able to view HD at 1080i

sorry guys i dont have the kp series this is the one i have KP-51HW40 but anyway anybody with some good info would be much appreciated if adminJOE could reply that would be great he seems to know everything thanx guys

its possible, but not likely that they will upgrade you.
But DVI is not set in stone.. Just Like ILink (firewire), nobody has set a standard... so it just might be another input that goes to waste... dont worry about it, and enjoy your great set!
