Overstock.com. Comcast gurus cant get it to display 1080i, 480i is the max from the DCT5100 box. http://www.overstock.com/se/20inch_...V.html#moreinfo
Support from Overstock is of course utterly useless. Also, no response from Digimedia -the manufacturer of this set. http://www.digimedia.com.tw/product_new01_detail.htm It is a sweet picture and I hate to send it back -partly because Ive run all the cables and hung it. Im spoiled now by our Sony 42TS2 hanging in the parlor. Anyone else own one of these running 1080 or does anyone have a remedy for my dilema? TIA Pedro |

This is not a HD display, max resolution is 800x600 (4:3). For HD the resolution you need is 1280x720p or 1920x1080i (16:9).
The specs say that it accepts 1080i thru component inputs. I assume you have tried. What output (1080i or 720p)have you set your STB component outputs to ? This display doesnt accept 720p. |

Make sure your STB works with HD signal thru component outputs. Have you tried it hooking to a different HDTV that accepts 1080i ? You could try exchanging the STB and see if the new one works.
Also try different cables. Good luck. ![]() |
