uecweb.com experience
I recently purchased the Hitachi 55" DLP (55DMX01WD) from uecweb.com and was very impressed.
The unit is a "discontinued" model (Hitachi dropped DLP for LCD apparently) and was "new in box" with the 1yr manufacturers warranty. It came with the stand, spare lamp, and shipping was $200.00. Total was 2768.00 I received the TV 7 days after I ordered and it arrived DOA (see "wash out" post). I emailed uecweb and within 7 days, another replacement was at my door. The 2nd unit operates flawlessly. The picture is fantastic and PC mode is awesome. I've yet to see it really perform in HD (still waiting on my 811 receiver) but if its better than the DVD quality, I'll be loving life! Overall, i'm very impressed with uecweb and how they handled the whole process. Jackie-O |

Looks fantastic. I'm a dishnetwork subscriber and am on the waiting list for the 811 HD receiver.
DVDs look amazing and playing Call of Duty using the PC interface is awesome. I'm still waiting for my PS2 to get out of the shop. Looking forward to playing SSX3. SD looks pretty darn good and the viewing angles are very good considering this is a RPTV. Very pleased so far. Jackie-O |

I actually received a notice in the mail from the local carrier and I called them to setup delivery. The shipper was Amtrex in my case with the local carrier being EGL (Eagle Global Logistics).
They shipped the stand one day and the TV the next day to give me time to assemble the stand. When the TV showed up they unpacked it and set it on the stand and waited for me to plug it in and check the picture. I'm sure you'll be satisfied. Jackie-O (Still waiting for my 811!!!) ![]() |
