Red face Mits. vs. Sony

Sup HD Scholars:

O.k. I am about to purchase the best HDTV I can for $2,000.00-$2,200.00

My top two choices are the Mits WS-55413 & Sony KP-57WV600.

I am open to other options, I'm trying to stay within the 50+ size and the best quality I can.

Please, let a youngster know. Thanks!

Sony have not exactly excelled at CRT-based RPTVs (They do excellent Direct View TVs), so go with the Mits, or check out the Hitachi and Toshibas.
