ISF tech came out only charged $200

Yesterday had an ISF tech come out and you wont believe what he charged me $200... Now that is a reasonable price to get my HD calibrated and have the convergence set.. This guy was down to earth and very honest.. Told him that everything that I had read said that a tech would cost me like $500 to come out... He said that was a total ripoff and that he doesnt feel right to charge customers that... Its good to see that we still have honest people on this earth who dont totally rip people off.......!

I gotta agree with you there. I sure wish the local ISFs here would have been so nice. Especially since I had already done a better convergence on my own (I was really just hoping he could give me some tips to fine tune, but he didn't have any that I hadn't already figured out.) And if I'd had a colorimeter I'd have been able to easily do the calibration on my own as well. Cost me $500 anyway, though, and I can gaurantee I won't pa for it again.

Now if I could just find a good colorimeter for way under $500 I'd be a happy camper. Otherwise I'll just have to see if I can rent one in another year or so.
