Sir-t151

I just got it from radar city sir-t151 in conjuntion with my cool
terk antennae (long and silver and flat so its not noticeable
by my landlord that i put the anttenae on the roof)

I get every digital channel from san fran - 35 miles from me in
mountain view.

What i dont understand is that my reception of anolog signals
using the same antennae with a splitter is atrocious i ony get 1
channels perfectly - but i get all the digital channels perfectly
i thought digital was harder to receive but i am finding exactly the opposite.

Another question - i talked to the chief engineer at kron tv station
and he said that 90% of what you see on digital is upconverted
from ntsc to 1080 so its not really 1080. he told me that most
stations will not in the forseable future broadcast true 1080
because its to expensive to upgrade cameras ect.
