DISH Rumours
I stopped by the local Dish retailer and according to the sales rep they are coming out with a dual tuner HD receiver with PVR. The model# is the 921 similar to the new 721 dual tuner with PVR except it will have the HD capability. It is supposed to be out with in 2 years.
He also said that the new 6000 series will be DVI upgradeable. Also they are claiming they will also supply HDnet by the end of the year regardless if the merger is complete or not!! |

on the l;atest DISH chat they stated that the 921 will be out sooner than that and, maybe more importantly for existing customer, that the current 6000 will NOT be DVI upgradeable but who knows anymore??? |
