Received Directv HD Tivo

I am new hear and have some questions. I work for a large retail operation and we have received our first shipment of HD Tivo's. (Don't ask, they are all spoken for.) I opened a box and started reading the manual and found something quite disturbing and need clarification. The manual states that any program with HDCP encryption will not pass HD out the component video connection, only the HDMI connection will pass HD if there is HDCP. If this is true what does it mean for those without DVI or HDMI connections?? Is this true for all HD decoders?? Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

I'm not too sure, but it sounds like it may be time for you to upgrade the TV... But what retail outlet has them in? I preordered mine a few months ago on orbitsat and they tell me they won't have them till the end of the month.
