Kinda OT- DLP

I had the pleasant opportunity to see SW: EP2 in a DLP theater earlier this year- I specifically went to the DLP showing. It is far more crisp and colorful than standard film (Orders of magnitude IMHO).

I checked out he DLP site and the theater projectors use 3 elements, where as in home use 1(fewer colors).

Can we expect the transfer to DVD to be better than a standard DVD port? I ask because the source is all digital, and it is being down converted to 480 lines for DVD.

I have a standard CRT based TV, and just yesterday discovered the joy of OTA HD programming. It's not like color from B&W, but it is amazing It even makes analog programming look better when broadcast over an Digital channel. Wathcing the Patriots last night really did it for me. Now I want my cable to support HD.
